Hi there,

Just wondering if the new Castle Creations sensored brushless motors will still work ok with our normal marine sensorless esc's, such as seaking 180, etc.

Thanks

I doubt it, you'd need a sensored ESC.

yes, sensored motors work with sensorless ESCs, it will act like any sensorless motor, just a little bigger and heavier for the same power. The other way around doesn't work though, sensored ESCs dont work with sensorless Motors

Paul is correct. No issue using sensored motors with sensorless ESC's.

Brain fart. Of course they would work. That's how I can fly my old Aveox sensored brushless inrunners on current sensorless ESCs.

I just wonder if the new version 1415 1Y 2400kv is the same rotor and windings as before. They had to cram a sensor system in there so????

Been trying to find a good deal on one, no luck yet. No rush.
