Hey everyone, I have not posted much here lately, always busy it seems like. I want to show you a new project that is now available. This is the early 1980's Amps Trihull Daycruiser, also known as the "everymans ski boat". As most of you know, trihulls were pretty common in the 70's and 80's, so Amps-International Hobbies did something most of us would shake our heads at in disbelief...they made a trihull. This boat, even tho its honestly silly, is actually really cool. Its 34" long, and kinda looks great. Most of the ones they sold, had a white bottom, with flake top, or a flake top and bottom. Not many originals ever show up any more. With permission from my good friend Ken, whos great uncle was Miller Agnew, who founded Amps, these are available, along with many other Amps boats (Baja, Formula 357 SR1, Formula 402 SR1, and the gas Seebold Amps tunnel). Here are some photos of some of the hulls I have already made. I am currently making a white bottom, but have not made a top deck yet. I was going to see if anyone was interested in one, and they could pick their top color. As you can see, one of mine will have a K&B 3.5 lower, with Leopard 4074 motor. This setup works great in my fiances Amps Starcraft CPS-20 40" hull, so it should be just as good in this smaller trihull. I made the outboard cover and decals as well. Enjoy, Mike

I offer these with the top deck, bottom, and tinted lexan preshaped windshield. Chrome trim is extra, fitting the windshield is slightly more to cover the 3M tape. Boats come unjoined so you can properly rig the boat with the top deck off...then, bond it with 3M 5200 marine adhesive...very simple process on this hull:

Nice, it looks like what we would call a cathedral hull in their, my parents had a similar boat Totham when I was knee high to a grasshopper.
