Question...is that motor mount going to fit in the sponson at the correct angle, or do you have to mod it?

Are you setting this up as a twin?

It has slots in the sides so can be adjusted somewhat. But mod'ing it is also on the table.

Yes twin, other screw is in the picture on the balancer. First ever boat build, so hopefully will be fun building and learning.

Looks really nice. All the best with you build. I have a CF Zonda too i wish to rebuild when time allows

RH driveline started. Need to ream out the stinger for the stuffing tube. A bit tight and not going to force it.

Before you go reaming, what diameter are the shafts and tubes?

Stuffing tube fitted nicely in LH. RH had burrs so reamed them out and fits perfect now. (9/32 brass for 0.187 Teflon)

Just checking if you got a left hand drive cable...

Yes a LH and RH. Does anyone have estimates of length change at full RPM

3/16" cable...leave a 3/16" gap between the end of the stinger and the back of the prop dog.

Thanks, Don't remember seeing gaps that big when researching boat builds. Was planning on maybe 0.040"-0.050" with a Teflon washer. Will need to dig deeper.

That's not enough. No real need for the washer if you run a proper gap. I also just use the diameter of the flex as a guide.

Thanks for the info. Will make sure I have enough adjustment in the drive lines to accommodate the gap.
