This stuff isn't suppose to expand that much. Will this suffice for flotation in the bow of a boat?

No. They usually hold moisture. Find yourself some pool noodles.

This can ruin your hull. Pool noodles or 2 part poly foam.

www.alumilite.com This is when I get 2 part foam from. It works great and they have three different densities. I use the 610 (6lb. density) to solidify the nose and have extra flotation.

Composite envisions is where I get my two part foam from on eBay. Don't use that foam you posted. You will ruin your hull, guaranteed. I speak from personal experience. I've been using a little foam in the bow and then high quality pool noodles. The solid kind.

Like these black ones in this boat
