keep getting emails

i keep getting emails that tell me new threads have posts....it says im subscribed to these threads but i chose not to subscribe to anythreads on my user CP and i even changed it so i dont receive emails, but i keep on getting them and its filling up my inbox, how do i stop getting emails?

In the controle pannel section i think there is a check box you can uncheck to stop getting the e-mails

On the EDIT OPTION page of your CP under MEASSAGING AND NOTIFICATION is the following:

Default Thread Subscription Mode Choose the DO NOT SUBSCRIBE option from the dropdown box .

i did, and i still got emails...

And you clicked on SAVE CHANGES before you left the Edit page?
