Newton Marine 8th scale plans

I am about to start building the U-100 Pico American Dream form a set of plans I bought from Newton marine. I have spent some time studying the plans and have noticed that there seems to be a lot of thought put into the plans. Mainly the sponsons compared left to right are quiet different in size and shape, and the center line of the hull is off set quiet a bit.

My question is, is anyone familiar with the Newton Marine plan set 171C for the Pico American Dream and is it designed to be run in a clockwise direction? I feel that is is designed to be run in a clockwise direction, but I want to make sure.

It is designed to turn right. The real boat I am sure had different design to the left and right sponsor and also the the shaft was most likely off center also
