Thinking of turning an older Aeromarine tunnel hull into a cat

the hull would be correct size for P offshore and modifying the canopy and deck to resemble an offshore cat...............any thoughts?

that would be a sweet looking cat. are you going to keep the top half and redo the bottom part?

lose the top half increase the height of the freeboards a tad and then make a new canopy, the bottom of the hull is about perfect now

That would be interesting. I'm sure it would work. It will ride a little differently than a regular cat hull. This looks like an experiment waiting to happen.
