Predator outrigger: the rear end is bouncing and isn't stable. It's fine til you get to like 50-100% throttle then it starts bouncing.

Need suggestions on what might be causing this.

-COG off?
-I've moved the battery backwards/rearward 5/8" to help load the rear.
-P735 prop

Shaft pointing downwards too much, and/or CoG too far forward, and/or too much prop lift, those P series props don't have that much lift but the more pitch you have the more lift comes with it, you could try cupping the blades and/or an X435 (I would say an X438 for a similar amp draw, but that means swapping to a 3/16 shaft, and lthe lower lift may give you more usable speed anyway (despite having less power available)).

My setup:
3650, 3900kv 5mm shaft
3S, 5000mah Gen Ace
Seaking 120a
Octura P735 prop

x435 will still give you good speed wit that gear when you get it dialed in.

Why not an m series prop?

Edit:
I see why.

Too much lift with the 735..reduce to X435 with no strut mod to verify how your boat runs....basically your strut must be positioned to 0 degree.Gill

At least part of the problem is the prop. It has less lift than the 1700 series it is based on, but still too much for a modern rigger. Where is the CG? That is the next thing to change, move it back 1/2" to 1" using balast if necessary. How fast do you want to go and how much run time?
