Hi,
Wondering if anyone is running a 12s 1p powered 1/8th scale hydroplane at all, looking for ideas and hull availability of modern to current style of hulls capable of fitting 2 x 6s 5800 packs. Must be MHR registered hull. Any pics and details would be great.

Thanks
Trev

Hi Trv.
I just checked the space in my U-95. I can fit 2 6s Entropy packs in that hull. It makes a few different boats.

Paul, just replied to your email last week about this. I am going to check my cad files and see what modern hulls can handle 12s1p based on the U-95 measurements. I will get back to you guys soon! Mike

Curious have you ever seen an 1/8th scale running on 8 or 10S

Why 12s? Can't race it. Most guys run 8 or 10.

Here in Australia we can use from 8s1p up to 12s1p in our EC classes.

Hi Jim.
Yes both Trev & I race at the same club. Both with 8s setups.

He's just thinking of lowering the current draw with higher voltage.

Ok, I did some Recon...Nothing in the turbine style hulls has depth in the battery are more that about 2.5", where as the U-95 is pushing 3" depth. The 108 kit is the one I would choose...fast, looks good, has TONS of room for batteries and motor, and did I mention its fast! Mike

Thanks for that mike. Your time is much appreciated.
Something to chew on for sure.

Cheers.
