Help please !

2 speed controls in 2 weeks. Etti 150s with cap bank , Leopard 4082 1600 x 442 prop. Pursuit 32 5200 50 c. Ran for a couple minutes temp about 102. Let sit a few minutes went back out a little over 2 minutes coming in boat cut off heard pop then smoke got to it speed control fried capictors blown. Any ideas 6 cell too much for 150 amp Esc have ran in the past without this thanks for any help 1st time a couple was ago I thought it was water. Since then new motor Esc etc then same outcome

Dave try running a speedo of 200 amps plus, I run the same setup with a swordfish 200amp esc without any issues. I've melted several of the 150 Etti speedo and I personally don't rate them.

Describe your run how fast are you going are you on and off the throttle frequently ect.

Wide open letting off some in turns big sweeping turns good water flow coming from water outlet. Around a 2 minute run bringing back in to shore close to shore it went dead rudder still working at this point. A few seconds later "Pop" then smoke. Removed tape and hatch. Main ESC capacitors blown. Capacitor bank seemed ok. Wires from ESC to motor melted off at ESC. 1st run on new ESC.
