I'm getting started on my DF Sniper build for SAW T-mono class. Will be using Speedmaster hardware with flooded tube for max adjustment, will be powered by single LMT 3060/7 and MGM 40063. Motor mount and cooling jacket from Dave at HRC, Dave is making a custom ESC plate to mount the massive MGM above the motor. I've already did some reinforcing with coremat and will be starting the inlay this weekend. :rockon2:

Nice. Did the strips of core matt stiffen it much? I have some here but haven't used it yet.

Yes it works well, but it soaks up quite a bit of resin. So if you're trying to keep it light I would recommend using sparingly :beerchug:

Got part of the inlay done last night, working on the sides this evening. What a PIA it is with these rails

Inlay is finally done, and drilled holes for the strut and trim tabs. Waiting on the servo mount before I drill for the rudder. Next I'll be making a transom doubler to strengthen it up a bit.

Well the motor finally showed up, I got it mounted in the HRC mount along with the HRC cooling can. Mounted the servo and rudder, also drilled a huge hole in the hull for the flood tube. Also got started on the stuffing tube, I epoxied it into the flood tube and will also epoxy from the other side as well for added strength. I don't want it to move when adjusting the strut

What speeds are you shooting for and on how many cells on this one? Just out of curiosity

Will be running 10s, as far as speed goes hopefully fast enough to take the T-mono SAW record for IMPBA. So mid 90's would be great :thumbup1:

Got some work done on the ESC mount and battery tray, man it was a long day and seems like I didn't do much lol. The batteries will tuck up under the ESC nicely.

Esc mount is complete, got the Dzus fastener brackets installed, the Esc is mounted to the mount via standoffs with rubber o-rings to dampen the vibrations, getting the motor wires shortened up now. Hoping to have the plumbing done next weekend

Hatch bolts done and had to throw a makeshift windshield on her. Ready for the maiden run and hopefully not at the SAW event in a couple weeks. Lol

Year-old thread. I expect the OP has already run it by now - but he hasn't been on-site for 8 months.
