Ziggy,

Brand new motor?? Has this motor been run at all because the wires looked like they have been soldered previously. And the shaft looks to have been milled with a flat spot?
Just verifying your statement.

Just verifying your statement.

You can also see where two different set screw indentant on the flat spot of the shaft has been from something having been on the shaft twice (prop etc.)! Maybe it was just test fit, but need to :help: clear up as I am interested as well.

he is my racing teammate and i suggested to him that he post it for sale on offshore electrics.

he ordered this neu motor for his e-revo and had installed it and soldered it into his e-revo but never ran it. he had also put on a novak pinion

a few of us had noticed that it was a smooth can motor which was a dead giveaway that it wasnt the proper motor for his appilcation.

once he found this out he removed the motor from his e-revo and replaced it with a finned can neu 1515 1.5 y.

the other neu motor went back into the box. this is the motor he has for sale.
