44" seaducer mono

I'm planning to build a 44" seaducer mono. I already have the hull and hardware. Would a leopard 4092 1050kv work for this boat on 6-8s?
What motor?
What esc?
What prop?
What cg?

Adsive me what would work best for this boat.

44" mono needs much more power IMO, I would look at the TP or leopard 56 series motors

You will need a 56 serie motor...not a 4092 for a 44"boat.TPower 4070 or Castle 2028 are good options with a 240/300A esc and 8S....its a big boat.

A tp 4070 isn't a 56mm motor it's only 40mm

You are right but a 4070 (40X 100) is a strong motor .....we are using it in 40"cats here successfully.

He is taking about a big seaducer mono... I don't recommend a 40mm for that as ideal... A narrow cat is one thing but I also wouldn't put one in a Aeromarine 40"ish style wide cat either ... Big monos really do need some motor... I may be wrong here and I've owned and run those exact 40x100's and they are def no question powerful but not quite up t the task like the 2028 idea you posted would be... That or any 5698 or larger can would be more ideal ... Again I'm sure you could make one work in some way but ideal would be the larger can size .

TP 5660 7D or TP 5670 6D would work well on 8s for a sport/race setup but remember that those hulls don't accommodate 2p worth a crap and usually do best as SAW boats, they can and will haul the mail when set up properly for SAW racing but being as that everything's so tight inside the boat making one a 2p heat racing boats going to be tough while still maintaining proper cg. I guess the best question is, what are your plans for the boat? Also 8s is what you'll have to run in either case because that hull will need the power to help somewhat keep the amp draw down plus it's length is not legal in impba for anything less than 8s.

I also have a 44" seaducer at home I plan on someday finishing and running on 10s and built the 34" boat as a test dummy and ran it on 4s1p with a "race" setup and was able to eventually get 67mph out of it. I may swap the motor in the small boat later and the prop and see if I can get it to run 75+ as I feel its got a good bit left in it speed wise.
