Hello everyone. This is my first post! Looks like a good community here, and I'm hoping you can share some wisdom.

I've designed and built a custom medium size carbon fiber boat (about 30" long, 14" wide) that is well sealed and (should be) self-righting. It is powered by dual MHz Jet4s with no external hardware - I'm hoping to steer by differential thrust on the water jets. I'm planning on using it mostly in the ocean, and I expect it to take quite a beating in the surf zone.

Can you recommend a water cooling tubing that will not come off under that beating? Also, some type of hose clamps or tie wraps that will work well? The hose barbs on the scorpion motors and swordfish ESC seem to be for a hose around 1/8" ID.

Thanks!
Ben

I use silicon fuel tubing from the IC boats, strong but flexible.
