Pro boat impulse 31 v3 stock with 2 3s 5000 battery's. Ran 46.8

Stock motor and prop is that about right and I have other question the older one v2 claims to do 50 is that true and how can I make my boat to 55-60 and which Motor should I buy and prop

Elvin, the Impulse 31 V3 says 45+ on the box, so 46.8 is about right, depending on what brand/quality LiPos you are using, and water conditions.

Nobody seems to visit this thread anymore but I am still playing with my V3. Not the best conditions today windy and water wasn't like glass a little wavy. Boat is mostly stock just a M545 prop and SMC 7200 3s packs 60c boat ran 55mph. Didn't check temps as I forgot the temp gun. Outside temp was 49*F but I was able to put my finger on the caps and they were warm not hot.
