    Large Mono. Dual Rudders????

This is in regards to my 53" Dumas Scarab build. I'm wondering if it's a workable set-up.

Can you omit the turn fins then with dual rudders located far enough to each of the sides? Would it be best to run dual standard servos or a push/pull arrangement on a single large servo (assuming I could find a long dual arm horn)?

Judging by the responses I take it that this is really a bad idea. I understand the extra rudder would add drag, but I was thinking that the lack of turn fins would offset some of the impact. This boat isn't about speed. It's big and heavy since it's built with chopped glass. If it can drag it's fat ass through the water at 90kmph I'll be happy.

      Just use a single rudder.
Try it first without turn fins.
You may not need them on that hull.
You can always add them if you need them afterward.
