I've been thinking of doing something with some stuff I've had laying around and was thinking that maybe I can throw them in the old MG hull but I need some advice if what I have would work. The biggest thing is that I'm also trying to use this old 45amp proboat esc too. Anyone think this would work?

45 amp proboat esc
3040kv motor or 3300kv motor
2s 8000 mah 30c battery

Thanks for any insight before I try and toast these! :)

Long time no answer. I have the same boat and put a Dynamite DYNM3835 A3630-1500Kv motor with the 45amp esc and I'm using a 2s 5000 mah 30c and 50c battery. Works great.

Try it on 4s! That's what I've got in there now and it rocks on the stock steel prop. Just about perfect for that boat I'd say.
