Im going to be in need of a good charger for lipo batteries here shortly..

Years ago i was hooked on Hyperion stuff...
But whats out there today? Whats the best bang for the buck?

I want something capable of atleast 10S.. I wont be running that at the moment, but just incase... Ya know.
Also wanting something that is AC/DC

I was looking at the following chargers..

Hyperion 615i Duo
Hyperion 720i
Venom Pro Plus
Duratrax Onyx 220
FMA CellPro 10S

I have a Hyperion 720, a 720 super duo, and a FMA/cellpro dual powerlab8. The powerlab is 10 times the charger and much better IMO. Not much support from Hyperion anymore either.

Fwiw, unless you have actual 10s packs, a 10s charger isn't absolutely necessary if you set up to paralell charge. Wattage output is more important IMO. I charge (4)-5s packs on each side with mine for my 10s setup, and they're all done in under 25 minutes.

The icharger 410 duo looks great also, but I opted for the powerlab and am very pleased with it.

Even 10s packs charge as (2) 5s packs. 12s packs charge as (2) 6s packs.
There's really no reason to choose a cellpro 10 over something like a PL8. As Kevin said, they put out enough power to charge multiple packs in parallel rather effectively.
