Sorry, I am just using it for sport running. Never ran it yet since I'm still waiting on my batteries from hobby king for 3 weeks. I just want it stable

I was just wondering if it makes sense to round the rudder

I'm not sure, i onw a Pursuit and the rudder is rounded, and i think it gives more drag... everytime i get my boat out of the water, the rudder is pulled back about 1/4 inch. So i would say no, but polishing it will help i think.

Not clear what you mean by rounding it.......The leading edge should be sharp, trailing edge is blunt for a reason. You can also sharpen the bottom, but don't alter the profile of the rudder.

Just make sure the hardware is all tight and don't adjust anything....you could take a good running boat out of the box and mess it up......change things only AFTER you find issues.
