Bought a blackjack 24 about 3 weeks back and have been tinkering with it a little. I had the same problems as alot of people i hear about. Flex shaft, collet. I upgraded to a stock blackjack 29 v3 shaft and prop. The esc and motor did okay with temps on a 50c 3s but I decided i wanted more so I dropped in the BJ29 6 pole motor and 120 amp esc.
This thing flies now. I tried it on 6s being only able to give half throttle but boy oh boy did it scoot. I tamed it down with 2 reaction 2s 50c. The system doesnt even get warm and it handles like a dream. I can come 1 ft from shore and spray somebody if i want at full speed.
