So i finally built up the courage to open up my box of parts and lay them out to start on my build. I been really nervous about this build.

I decided to go with all Speed master hardware and an OSE castle 2028 rail motor mount so i could mount the esc directly above the motor keeping the wires short.

Not sure if i'm going to buy battery trays or build my own.

Here are some pictures.

According to speed master they say to mount the bottom of the stinger mount 3/32 or 2.38 mm above the keel

I'm not sure if this only applies to gas and nitro powered hulls only since thats what they were designed for, but with the power of electric motors and speed it would be traveling would you want more of the riding pad in the water or does the same apply to electrics and gas when mounting the stinger?

Yes you want that stinger up high to get the hull down into the water. I went with a strut and a wet well to allow myself a lot of range. Ended up as high as I could go. Err on the side of higher up not lower.

Yeah i went with the prop shaft a 1/2 inch above the bottom of the keel

Ho Pedro nice boats, that was really choppy water in that video seems to handle it well.

If you dont mind showing pictures of the inside motor, servo and battery placement also pictures of the rear of the boat would help alot too to see how your hardware is mounted would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks again

Farmer
