Hey guys I am back at making motor mounts after a few years off. I have a new design that is in my book a winner. It will hold all of the popular bolt patterns . The only thing I haven't implemented on the mount yet is a way to secure the end of the motor. Honestly I have never secured the motor ends and had some pretty bad crashes with no damages to my mounts or motor but on the really long motors I can see why supporting the end is a good thing. I always used at least 4 bolts on the motors as well . I have a mount available for someone who has a means to use it in extreme environments or just willing to document a build with one and create a vid of the boat running and maybe crashing with in lol... Anyways post here if interested . I will decide who gets the mount based on member seniority .

Walk around vid of the mount : https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtube_gdata_player&v=XpFWqtuRkgI#

Thank you sir!:thumbup1:

Your welcome and I hope it fits well for your application . I included a bolt kit and a extra pair of side plates that will raise the motor plate up 1/8" from the standard sides incase your v hull isn't as deep as the Rico I specked this mount from. Sent it USPS priority today should be there Friday . I look forward to your thoughts on it ! Thanks Doug ! :beerchug:

Walk around vid of the 40mm series mount. Shown with a 36mm Fiago 540xl , 74mm long. I have been a fan of long side plates for a long time now and I do believe I was the first to produce such mounts a few years back when there wasn't any on the market with long sides. :tiphat: The short side plates use to stress crack my hulls be cause they did not distribute the weight across a large area. I almost missed a bolt pattern ! I didn't realize the 40 series TP motors were 6 bolt 25mm . That's going to be it's own motor plate.131485

Randy, what is the bolt pattern on the 1717 that you are selling?
I wish this is July so I would know what I am doing, also, are you still making those blue CF motor mounts or only aluminum ones, just asking.....

EDIT:
I mean are they spaced at 25mm or 30mm, and M3 or M4 bolt size...

I'm out of blue cf and I think I have enough red cf to do a mount. I can do any bolt pattern and the bolt holes are big enough for 4m (and a little human error ) :).... The 1717 is 25mm 4m
