I got this hull from a long time experienced FE vet here who is on break from the hobby currently . I plan on fixing this one up special with things that more than likely aren't necessary . High power and semi good turning. That's a CC 1717 in there I will probably get rid of. It will be a slow build let's see what happens :blah: :noidea:

I would want that 1717 except mounts are hard to find for it....

We will be waiting on the build thread! Less wiring this time?? lol

I am going to make a 1717 mount for a deep v and post picks soon. I will keep my templates for future mount should anyone want one for a fee.

The mount is in raw form I will bling it up later :beerchug:

I'm thinking about doing a run on them. China is hard to compete against though .131001

It would be cool but I am not sure how many would get it.... I would prefer to have it made here in the States, even if would cost a chunk of change. I might have to buy another hull for that Leo. 4092 now....lol
Would you do one with a rear support? My boats are subject to waves from big boats... lol

I can do a rear support but I would get the Chinese one from kintec more than likely . These mounts are strong enough to run with no support if the motor can is up to the task. If you you like send me a long motor and I can see how I would go about making the rear support . I may need to modify the side plates a little for a rear support. I would advise a rear support on the real long motors although I have run 1527's with no support and no issues after crashes although I have seen pics of what can happen with no support .

I want to get rid of the stinger drive and go with a strut setup . I have built a couple monos in the past with struts and never did a flood tube . Adjusting strut height was always a pain. I bought a stick of red pex shark bite tubing at the Depo that I think will be perfect !

Been too busy this past week, couldn't keep up with you, looks great. Them motor mounts are lovely. I see how easy it is to take the motor out with the front plate.:buttrock: Also is this boat going to have a wet tube, the transom center hole is rather large...

It will have a wet tube for the extended strut I'm putting on it . It may be a little bit before I get too far into the build . I kind of need to earn more boat money lol

I'm working on perfecting the mount JIC others may want one hint hint :tape:

On the left is a TP5650 mounted to the first 3 production components templated from the original and has the motor plate in hydro form , these parts will interchange with each other and be duplicated the same. It also can bolt up standard 25mm and 6 bolt 30-35mm . The universal bolt pattern is extra time and $$ . Pic your one pattern or spend more and bolt them all up ! Ok I'm dreaming again lol  :tongue_smilie:

They look SOOO good, I don't know which motor to use yet, I wanted a CC 1717, but was told that will be too big. I was adviced to use a Neu 1527, but I have not looked at the hull for so long and it's been stored at my Mom's.
Will the standard one come with a roll of holes on the side plate for epoxy grabbing?

It will ! It will have all the holes as the original and will probably look even better. I haven't completed the side plate template fully yet but adding holes to it is the next step.

I'm pretty darn excited about this mount !

My short $150 56mm TP motor is rated at 4500 watts continuous and 8400 watts peak. This mount will have no troubles with that . The mount is 2" tall and I can drop the bolt patterns lower should you want a single pattern and a long motor so you can get better clearance .

rearwheelin

The one on the bottom has one extra epoxy hole than the original on top. I got crazy with the holes on the production cut out trying to figure out the production pattern but it was a fail ! lol the original is a much more optimal approach lol I will make a duplicate of the holly one pm me if anyone is in interested in it . These epoxy holes will be in the final design.

I have a low pro mount I designed for a 1527 to fit in a H&M Intruder . I kept my spec sheet on it . This was my original one. So I got you covered if this new one is too big. I will probably make these ones again too, but aluminum :)

No problem!
I do to, this is my opinion: I believe some like the CF because it does have some give IF they have a real bad crash and it looks nice. The mount could be painted or even wrapped (maybe a HyrdoDip would work too) so it could match the paint. Maybe we could work a trade (plus $) on that 4092 for the 1717.....

There is no possible way I can do a nice rear support so I'm going to have to recommend this. For the motor you sent me I would just run 6 motor bolts and call it good :)
