rudder, flex shaft

i got one of these for a rescue boat i am trying to build ,

it said 4mm in strut. which size brass tube and flex assembly do i need to use. looked at the ks stock and it does not show 4mm thanks.:help:

Six picture down the road.
These, to the best of my knowledge, are Chinese brass tubes, they are thinner than K&S. I ordered two of them and because in my opinion with regard to the difference, I never used them. I wish I could find them and send them to you, but you will have to come and help me to turn my garage up side down.:olleyes:

rescue boat : won' t use surface drive + flex

build /buy something slow like a scale boat or....

why using flex when you have to reverse ?

its left over parts i have other then the drive, so i just went with it lol, would have like to have a solid drive shaft. next version will have it
