I have acquired a H&M twin wing Sport Hydro. Didn't cost much and it's in pretty nice shape.
I know it's not a real 1/10th scale and from the weight it wouldn't cut the mustard anyway, be lucky if it got on plane.

Sooo, I was curious and a bit lazy with searches so I thought I'd ask people on here what they might put in this puppy, it's 37'ish inches long and here is a pic. Mine was painted white over the original red gel coat booo:angry: but, it looks nice and has some decent decals on it.

When I have a working camera, I'll load up some actual pics of what I have not a pic from H&M.

I was thinking maybe 6S1P with a Turnigy T600, 1400kv outrunner for shiznits and giggles. It's more of a collectors item than something to race. I think the only class it would fit in is, open hydro and I don't think it would compete but, I have no idea.

I'll start doing searches but, these puppies aren't too popular.

TP 4070 5D 1650kv on 6s or I have a used TP 4070 1770kv (they don't make anymore) it was pretty fast on 6s in my GP400.

ran a 1515/1y on 4s and a 1521/1y on 5s both ran well this boat looks great but in reality does not perform well at over 55mph.

Doby's right. I'll never be able to enjoy it like he will, it's very large and clumsy for me to work with. It was a good deal so, I passed it along.

I really like it but, dang it doesn't fit on my lap. I sold off my 40" green mono too but, I will keep my Whip 40 since its a bit more compact. All I'll build now is a Whip 20, the Cheetah I got in trade from Tom and maybe a Cyberstorm I have packed away.

I really though the twin wing was smaller.

Its gonna be a Q Sport Hydro....using the out runner you described above....and by the way, NAMBA says its a legal hull.

I've had this boat for 8 years and it is NOT legal for P-sport or 1/10th racing, there was a provision in the rule book but the length limits screwed it. I've tried to run this as a Q-sport and it is not what you want to run in that class, TRUST ME!!!

Who said anything about "P"??

It will be fun to try as a Q!

Well from what I've seen, if anybody can make it work Doby can. It may not be optimal but I would bet $ he'll make it run with the pack.

Back of the pack, front of the pack, who cares....the goal is always more boats on the water and FUN!

I always loved that hull I have mine done up in a pretty cool paint scheme, but I haven't run it since the 09 Mi nats.

This is true... if he can get around me, I'll be kicking myself for selling the hull but, I'm pretty confident of my 40 Whip
