Hey guys so the first boat i had ever bought was a surge crusher and that was just to try and beat my dads hobbyking sea fire. I had no clue what the heck i was doing so i gave it to my dad. Long storry short he dropped it put a big hole in the transom and he ended up giving it back to me:doh: . So here i am with a surge crusher and i decided "What the heck" i minus well see what i can get out of it!! Since i got that boat i have had acouple others such as 2 deep v's and a daytona which i recently just built. I have learned alot from the people on the forums and i think i could make this little cat go pretty fast! So i will get some pics up of the damadge on the back and we will go from their for the electronics i was thinking seaking 180 with a leopard 3674 2200kv or 2000kv motor and 3/16 flex upgrade on 4s to start with an maybe a m642 prop. Carbon inlay etc will be done on top of that. If you guys have any feedback that be sick. thats just a guess of electronics that ill put in though, Thanks!!!!

If the damage isn't too severe it's not very expensive to add carbon fiber and the thin fiberglass hull actually needs to be beefed up some.

Dude, slow down on the typing man. Your last post is unreadable. Punctuation makes it much easier to understand what your saying as well. Not trying to bust your balls, it will help people want to follow along and help. Let's see some pictures!

ya sorry on most off my posts I had done on my phone and I dropped it so many times that its not even funny. It was cracked beyond belief and it was really hard to type because it wouldn't always respond to my typing. I just got a new one so should be a lot better haha.

haha, ya at&t charged me a big chunk out of my boat building budget because it had water damage and they wouldn't cover it under warranty, so I was procrastinating a lot. SORRY TO EVERY ONE THAT COULDNT MAKE OUT MY POSTS HAHA!! Anyways back to the boat build my camera was dead last night so it is on the charger now but I finished the repair and now im just taking out all of the old wooden mounts. For some reason I am really looking forward to putting together this little boat because it was my first boat. I think I will try and do the inlay tonight or at least do some more reinforcements.

Hey guys so ive been really busy lately with AP homework but here are some pics of the repair and the inlay. The inlay did not turn out how i was hoping, i seemed to have pulled the fabric to much on the corners as you can see. I am making this boat for my mom because she wanted to get into rc boats and she wants this to be a boat that is just funny to look at. So ill just give you guys a hint on what the theme will be, "Pink and black" and it is after a show that little girls like haha.

so im rethinking my motor choice a little, i have a turnigy aquastar 120a i would like to use so i need to keep that in mind. I was in between a 3674 1900kv on 6s or a 4074 2000kv. Whats do you guys think.
