do you guys think this motor will be able to handle 16 cells.... im running a different esc that can handle 20 so i was goin to try 16 cells..... opinions??

Probably. Its the amps and heat that kills them. I dont think the extra rpm will hurt it. Only one way to find out. And sometimes its the hard way:(

19+ volts maybe pushing it a little. You won't really know untill ya try. You can allways take one for the team:D.

yea unfortunaltly(spelling lol) i cant afford to learn the hard way..... im getting just over 40 mph in the bandit cat on 14 and thats with crap electrifly batts..... would i see enough increase in speed with 16 ib cells to risk it? my esc is a 70amp

Knowing that, I don't think the increase in speed will be substantial enough to risk it.
