Where did you buy the motor from??

The extended wires on the new one look to be soldered to the motor wires just outside the can.

I'm on plane now..ordered from hobby shop locally in az..not sure where they get it from..it is about 4mm longer..about .5 mm thicker..gonna cut shrink wrap off when I get home Sunday to see..but yes..Def looks like they just soldered on 12 guage wires to the thinner wires..will be testing in scale modern during week

Dude... they are crimps. No solder. Just like they do with modern car motors. The windings are larger wire as well, and the rotor is smaller in Diameter with revised magnet shape.

All combine to make a more robust power system.

I shorten the wire down as close to the crimps as practical.

Everyone who has run these in their 1/10th scale has found a performance increase.

I'd buy them up while they are still in stock. When they are gone they are gone.

Sounds great. Good to hear they are crimped, Aveox used to do that too and they worked very well.
