DIA Denver International Airport is about 30 miles away. If you ship your boats out we will have a canopy, chair and table waiting for you. Let us know what else we can do to help.

Joe,

The Holland family would like to sponsor the P-Limited Mono class. Since I will probably win the class with my Aqua Craft Revolt I should at least sponsor it so my name is on the trophy. How do i pay for the sponsorship???

I have the FE bug. I had 1 running FE boat at the end of last year. Now I have a P-spec mono, P-spec Sport Hydro, Q-rigger and a Q-Sport Hydro. Looking for P motors to switch out with my P-spec stuff. Learning about batteries, KV and such in a quick way. Got a RTR Cat coming. Q-mono may be the next build. My entry form for the Nats has gotten quite a bit longer.

I have my Q-sport Hydro ready, My P-limited Cat ready, My new P-Mono build has started. Q-rigger is ready to test. P-spec mono is ready but tweaking on it a little more. I think I need a Q-Mono to round out the fleet.

Looking forward to meeting some new racers.

Any chance of posting heat times as well? I'm assuming the course was a legit 1/6th mile course?? (in other words, "records" eligible??)

Always interested in knowing not only who won, but just how fast they were going...

darin I would higly doubt any record times..i know myself had to prop down between 3-5mm on all my boats..and that's from temps in az..water was very dense..sticky..but it was still a good time..lots of people including myself were burning up motors and speedos..and connectors..i think david is supposed to be posting pics and results..but still waiting..as for the truck..we don't know whosr it was..but the antenna was seen early on Monday I believe..maybe Tuesday..

madmikepags

you could apply for a record for q sport and probably get it, 2 years ago in Mi myself and mike ball each ran consecutive 1:14's but neither of us applied for the record because only 2 hundreth's of a second seperated our times.

Guys, a "good turnout" is being able to have a race in the first place. Let's not diminish the event or the efforts of those who managed to make the effort by worrying about who wasn't there. Those that were took the challenge and deserve the recognition. It takes a lot of time, a ton of money, and a big effort to put one of these events on, as well as to compete in one.

ron1950
08-26-2015, 04:16 PM
Darin it may take a bunch of money both for the club and the drivers but if u keep having the event in locations that no one will go to its quit a waste of time for everyone....your 2016 fe nats will probably be like a local race with a few others and might even be the biggest turnout for many years...hope so anyway

Darin Jordan

I agree, but, conversely, it's hard to get clubs to WANT to host a NATs if nobody makes the effort to go, regardless of where it is. Greely hosts Nitro-Nats all the time...

As for ours... we'll have to see. We could have just our local clubs show up and it would still end up being one of the bigger events in the country. It's a GREAT location and a really fun area... If the Seattle area can't draw a bit of a crowd, then I don't know what will...
