Yes it was 1/4 mile oval.
I had to leave early Sat afternoon. Going to see a orthopedic surgeon tomorrow, my rt. knee is DONE! .:cursing:

How did you guys do in Flint?

Sorry to hear about the knee Doug...did you hurt it there?

No big straightline speeds from Flint. I'm really not sure if any of the oval guys took any records or not. I try to pay attention but sometimes it's difficult, because the times that we had water that we were willing to run in, everybody was busy getting ready, taping up, etc., leaving little time to spectate.

I ran my SAW Q-cat a few times because it's not that fast and it navigates rougher water pretty well, but after waiting for half the day with my other cats, I got bored and decided to try and run the oval with my SAW S-cat. It was my first time trying to go around the buoys and I have to say it was fun. After a couple laps I was able to hold a fairly tight line for a SAW boat, although I did go through the corners pretty slowly. It was fun and worth a few laughs, and I enjoyed running the oval a lot more than I thought I would. :thumbup1:

The open windows for SAW in Huntsville were few as well. Glad you had some fun running the oval. I enjoy it too, but I'd rather blast up and down the straightaways.:w00t:

My knee has been giving me trouble since May, but only while kneeling. I was walking back to the pits when it told I was going home immediately!
I'm really glad my brother in law was with me or I would have been in serious trouble.
