Licensed sellers for PB, is there a list?

I recently communicated with someone on-line that was selling a probooat hull. The picture given was a factory picture and I asked the seller for an actual picture to confirm the seller is up an up since their feedback was far from stellar.

Their answer was:


I am sorry but as a licensed seller of all products we carry, we legally must use only the manufacturer's provided image for all advertisement. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us again.

Is this correct or a bogus answer?
