More options is always nice.

I would rather buy a hull and get the motor and esc I want
instead of paying for a rtr and changing them anyway.

Good point... But a larger hull in that range would be cool

This actually sparked an idea for me. i tought about buying a bunch of fiberglass cheetah hulls and building some affordable higher end rtrs. Too bad i dont have the $$ to do it.

Me myself would go with speedmaster hardware .187 flex and hitec survo! Carbon fiber motor mount.

I use .187 flex on everything pretty much except my fantasm. ..it's got a .250 flex. I prefer the savox waterproof servo...I have them and put them in everything. Carbon motor mounts are mostly what I use. I've used a few nice looking cnc cut aluminum mounts too. Hardware...just depends on the hull. I've had about 5 or 6 rtr proboat boats. They use cheap servos, but decent hardware for the rudder and strut. Cheap trim tabs you have to bend and wood all on the inside that is easy to remove should you want to upgrade the innards. I would like another bare miss geico hull to build like I've been building my other boats. I think it would be pretty nice. I like those hulls besides the wawawawa they do...which I know how to fix now anyway.

Humm that would be a big no for me

RTR is easy, and most of the basics can be swapped for better internals and hardware... I would like to see something. Like a 36" Miss Geico. OR they could team up with Skater Powerboats/Douglas Marine to make a model of one of there big toys. I do like V hulls, for some reason they always pull me in. Maybe they could just team up and do a Top Gun Cigarette.... They would have to name it Liquid Prozac like my neighbors in this pic:

Scratch all that, I want a center console. It needs to be in the 50 mph range, 100 amp esc, powered on 4s. take a look at the big boy here: https://www.cigaretteracing.com/eng/42_huntress.php

I might settle of a Donzi or Baja though.... I actually prefer that they bring the Formula brand back... I am a 1:1 power boat "person". Nothing like owning a Cigarette.

But when it's time to crunch numbers they will just come out with another sailboat.... 120036

EDIT: A Fountain would be nice!

Proboat just came out with a big cat, where have you been? Too bad it's gasoline, and recalled with all sorts of issues.
Would you really trust them to build a big rtr cat?

We don't anymore, but we did have:
Marauder 50'
Tiger 42'
An older center console (forget the model name)

Now we just have a Formula 310 SunSport, should of gotten a SuperSport since they are built of the FASTech hulls...

We try to fill up onshore, offshore gas is $4.50ish... Vs. $3.80ish... And it doesn't take the "cheap" gas! lol
EDIT: I thought your were talking about big boat gas prices.... Lol

Wow! Impressive boats, especially the 50' Marauder. One of my favorites with triple 1075s. But my ultimate is the Outerlimits 51' Sport Yacht with triple 700s. Luxury and performance. These big step hulls are a completely different animal, and have huge price tags. I had to "settle" for a Baja myself.

Well maybe not recalled considering they never really went out, but from what I understand they've had to rework the electrical system because of issues

Thanks! We picked them up dead cheap during the "hard times" and made some $ off them. The Outerlimits are some nice boats!

We had a little work on our Marauder, let's just say it was named Triple Ripple for a good reason.... Triple 1650s', but we never used all of what it had due to the space in the Bay. We have been banned from Lake Conroe though! I would like to give the 46' XP a try, never had a diesel power boat! Another neighbor has a F4 Sunsation, thing runs 95mph but looks quite good at speed.

Back to the subject before we in trouble here... Lol

I think if they did a Twin Miss Geico that would be awesome!!!!
What motor size ya' got in your Baja? We are having our rear end on the Formula done this winter. Still deciding on power....

My proboat blackjack29 v3 is nice but would like a electric cat in the 36-38 range with 40mm x 82/92 range on 6s with 180/220 a control.

I agree. They need to add another cat to their line up. A sized up geico would be pretty awesome. Maybe a longer geico but not really much wider. That would be pretty badass! I like the look of that hull.

I'm thinking since proboat is stepping up there quality, a bigger electric cat would sell well!
