So this guy was hanging out at the park steeling electricity from the parks electrical outlet to charge his e-bike and was willing to run my camera for me. He was a little buzzed I'm sure of it and actually did a good job :tiphat:

well, it looks promising, but we won't really know for two months if it runs as well as it appears to!

What prop were you running? Sounded like it had no load on the motor at all. Maybe too small or not in the water enough?

It's a 440x 3 blade and it's defiantly not in the water enough but that's the nature of my setup :)

Wow, you must live in a very nice area. Around here hobos have shopping trolleys if they are lucky, not E-bikes.

I was standing next to his fishing pole/ his dinner. He could be a short term homeless person !

why are those trimtabs so far on the outside?

why are those trimtabs so far on the outside?

I'm studying the effect that the keel & rudder wash has on the tabs. My intention is to have the keel ride level threw the turns so it turns harder. The tabs weigh nothing and are part of a all in one tab / turn fin combo unit. The ride plate mounted on the strut actually is the trim tab.

Dude , if you insist on it I really don't care who's right . Lexan is like triple the price of plexy. It's what they make things like NASCAR wind shields out of. Plexy is cheap and brittle, good for fire extinguisher break panels . :ThumbsDown01:

Dude , a wrong thing doesn't become correct just by putting some emoticons at the end
they are both PMMA

no need to be scared ; not going to explain why they have different qualities, commercial names and are priced different or drag this any further

I don't need you to explain any further. Why did you even make the statement in the first place when clearly they are two different materials. Just because they are similar in chemistry don't make them the same. It's like comparing apples to oranges.
