Has anyone reinforced their im31 v2 hulls ?

The hull on the impulse 31 v2 seems a bit flimsy in certain areas has anyone done any hull reinforcements with carbon fiber or glass on this hull im new to the hobby and am looking for suggestions.

Hi .308 is your real name 7.62 NATO? I'm also New, But I Took 30min epoxy and mixed up a batch, thinned it with alcohol and brushed everyplace I could reach. Darin has a thread on here building a race im31 and he is using CF. I'm not going racing we just Bash ours. Have Fun, Henry

Thats a pretty good idea what kind of alcohol did you use ? Denatured or isopropyl ? And did you just brush the epoxy where you could get it or were you able to get up in the bow where the foam is located ?

I Used isopropyl, We use it in the engine compartments of our R/C Planes. Fuel Proof/Stronger. Nowhere near as strong as fg or cf , but My impulse does 49.1MPH it doesn't need to go any faster. I brushed it every where I could reach and two coats on the frame work.
