Hello.

I maby want to build a boat for my brother.
I have remote, reciever and servo, he need everything else.
Since we like the geico 29 so mutch then why not build it with bigger esc and motor than the stock instead of buy it rtr and try to reach 50-60mph without overheat something?

Thinking about a Leopard 40 serie and a 120-180A esc.

The question is how is the pro boat miss geico hull out of the box?
Partnumber prb4115 is the hull, not mutch info on horizon hobby or from other sellers, i ask on ebay and they didnt know what it came with.
Im wonder if the hull came with wood and holes ready to just add electronic and flex shaft? Anyone that have buy this prb4115 geico 29 hull that could tell me if its ready to mount or not?
I think its better to buy a blackjack so we can see the differences on the water, i guess the blackjack is the same as geico.

Also got another question, i have a miss geico 29 with dynamite 80A esc, running on 5s with the stock 1500kv motor. If i buy the 1800kv motor i get about 5000rpm more on 5s. Will it be a lot faster with the 1800kv? I have read that less kv give more torque. And more torque give faster accelation.

I think its better to mount a 1800kv motor than run 6s on 80A esc?
6s on stock 1500kv motor give the same rpm as 5s on 1800kv :-)
What is best? Keep the 1500kv motor on 5s? Lol

Thanks for reply

The 1800 on 6s would be quite fast. the 80amp esc isnt going to cut it tho. 180amp esc is what id look for.

Hull only comes with all wood inside, tubing for cable is installed and holes drilled in rear with blind nuts installed, no motor mount included, no hardware included.

Thanks for reply! Now i know the hull is ready for install :) Just need to order motor mount.

Yes 1800kv and 6s is sure a beast..
I have 1500kv and 5s, i want more power but it realy fast like it is.
How will it be with 1800 motor on 5s vs 1500kv motor?
Will it be the same power difference if i just run 6s on 1500kv?

I feel it would be safer to run 1800kv on 5s vs 1500kv on 6s?
The rpm would be the same..

The rpm would be the same..

1500 kv on 6 S = 33.3K RPM
1800 kv on 5 S = 33.3K RPM

5S is perfect for 1800, 6S is perfect for 1500. 6S on 1800 is a bit much, but it can work.

If you bought a stock Geico, the stock ESC is only rated to 4S voltage, so don't put 5S on it.
If you have a blackjack or impluse, the ESC is rated for 6S, but it is not enough amps, but you could get away with 5S on the 80A ESC if kept to the stock metal prop.

Hey there Chief. Yes i have bought the 80A dynamite from my local store.

What would be most safe and what will give best accelation or top speed when we talk about 1500kv 6s vs 1800kv 5s?

On 5s with stock metal prop and 1500 geico motor its realy fast enough, if its littlebit wind out on the water the hull flipping back and to the hatch on top speed, but without wind it run perfect :-)
Maby more power will do so its not easy to run it without retrive the boat for every run, but its always fun to try more power :-)

Runtime is 10-12 minutes with 5400mh and after that they show 3.75-3.80
Is that normal runtime for theas battery? Using Tigerpower 5400 35c
The 3s is 3,9cm high so i maby want to change them out for smaller batteries.
What is normal runtime on theas boat with 5000-6000mah?
