Hello guys, the other day my Revolt 30 had a run in with some rocks and I'm not sure what to do.
I'm debating on attempting to repair the hull (although hesitant to do so due to my lack of experience with fiberglass), or buying another hull and swapping the hardware and electronics from the Revolt into said different hull.

If you guys think that the hull is not worth repairing, would I be able to just swap over the revolt hardware/electronics to something like the Delta Force Cyber Storm 33 hull?

Your advice is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

Look for another revolt hull is my opinion.
Df33 is a bit large for your motor esc

Ouch!!! That hull is pretty much mungered!!! If you do not have experience with F/g, I would start looking for anther revolt hull as mentioned in one of the above posts...start a thread in the "wtb" section here on ose...

Good luck and stay outta the rocks!! ; )

mungered?? Is that a Delaware term. LOL:tt2:... and shouldnt you be working on the Q Sport??:buttrock:

I'm with the Aiden and Kent. Find another Revolt hull. Keep and eye out for scratch and dents on Tower's web site..... The the DF 29 could be sweet also.

df 29 has a more solid layup better for over powering down the road, rtrs are great but thin

You would be doing just as much sanding with the PT. No gelcoat on those boats.

May just clear it with west systems and run it as is...lol!

Sorry about highjacking your thread Dan....; )

Thanks for the advice guys, I'm not sure if I am going to get another revolt hull or try a DF29 build.

Delta 29
Pursuit mono
Insane FE 30

If you're up to building you could pick up an ML Boatworks kit. Very sweet runners.
Blazer Whiplash 20 is perfect for that power plant too. That requires a little imagination though as they were never intended for FE.

If you went with another mono the hardware will swap right over.

Again, thanks for the advice. I just ordered a DF29 from our host. I'm sure I will have some other questions for you guys once I start my build.

You will not be sorry. My son races that boat on spec power.

Just a note of reference, but Scott Bickford runs a DF 33 on P-LTD power and the thing FLIES! He kept it minimal and light.

What he ordered will be fine. I was just saying that the 33 is not necessarily too big for P-LTD.

My LSO is 32". It works. Mine runs pretty light though.

The Delta29 is a sweet ride though. Pretty idiot proof too. Setting it up isn't super tough.

I just buy almost excellent new revolt hull and hardware in eBay . This seller is very good and this hull including shipping total $132 .
