EKOS C1 Hull drilling/building questions

I'm on the fence as to whether or not to buy a 34 inch C1 hull from Atomik and build it up myself. I'd appreciate some input on the difficulty of the build process, particularly the drilling for the the drive struts. The Atomik rep i messaged said that the hulls come un drilled and completely bare. I don't have any experience with boat builds. Is there a template or something that helps get the drilling exact? Is this the kind of build that i could get right on the first time without screwing up the hull? Any other consideration or advice from anyone on undertaking this project?
