Hatch Tape Peeling Paint!? - I have the solution!

2Mil 1/2"x75' Roll of optically clear sealing tape.
Price is $20 for 1 roll shipped priority mail

Or .50 per foot and $5 priority shipping

You put 1/2" long stripes on the deck and 1/2" stripes on the actual hatch where you apply your hatch tape.
It is applied the same way you would your hatch tape but this stays on the boat and your hatch tape goes over this.
Once applied heat it up a little bit with a blow dryer or heat gun to set it in place and your good to go NO MORE PEELING PAINT!!!

I just picked up a couple rolls of this from Jeff. This stuff is amazing, you wouldn't believe the radiuses you can make with this. I ran all the way around the hatch and the opening of the hull on my Cheetah in one piece for each. I didn't have to cut it at the corners at all. I tried to take some pics but you can't see it, hell you can't see it when you're looking at it unless you get it in the light just right. Great stuff Jeff!!!!:thumbup::thumbup:

No but you could overlay 2 pieces to be that size.
You'd hardly be able to tell you overlayed them.

Or I could cut down some material to this size how much do you need?
It wouldn't be a roll at that size...

Let me see what I have on hand. I have to cut it on the plotter or by hand so it takes up more time then the stock roll sizes. What I think I'll do is contact my vendor and see if they would do a 5/8" roll for me.

I checked and I do have some material I can cut down but it will be in 20" sections is that ok?
Let me know and I will figure out what I can do on qty and cost.


The manufacturer doesn't make it in that width and only way to get it in that width would be to purchase an entire roll which is over $300+ so thats not going to happen.
I would have a surplus for a long time and be in the hole a lot of money.
