How's your speed now? How are the riding characteristics? Is it running the way you want or do you want changes in performance? If so, how much change?

        Hi,
If you are running a 6S1P (think you are), then you have the perfect motor and ESC for it. I would start with an Octura x440 prop, if everything is running cool, I'd then try an Octura x442.

On 4S, the best prop is x642 IMHO.

i think there really must be something wrong if that combo would get hot spinning a 40 or 42mm 1.4p prop
i really don't see the point buying 4082 can motors and 180amps esc's to sping a prop that size at 6s 1600kv!
that combo is good for a lot more
save that powerplant for a larger and better hull

Yes the motor is over kill -- 1600kv is spot on but 4074 would be plenty...
