View Full Version : Proboat offset rudder kit for MG29 V2

Hey folks,

Picked up an offset rudder from pro boat a couple of months ago. Just fitting it now, the steering arm from the servo is a bit long so I was just going to cut to size and re-bend to slot into the servo horn. On the other end of the arm were it connect to the rudder the issue is the water boot going into the hull. With the rudder all mounted up the black cap on the arm is hard up against the rubber. Anyone got suggestions.

is it worth the hassle? The only reason I got the bracket was to stop the need to remove the inline rudder for shaft greasing

Depending on the size of your servo rod and the hole in your rudder arm, this can work - it's for 2-56 rod:
