That don't mean it cant be done....You will just have to buy the right equipment for the job.

Also it doesn't look like it has very sharp edges. Might make a good sport boat though.

thats all i do is sport boating.... no clubs or events around here...... how much heavier is the hull compared to the blackjack.... i know there is 5 inches more to it.... right aquipment.... do you think the aquacraft system would be a good choice? if its just as fast as my sv27 ill be wayyyy more than happy..... or should i consider running lipo in this hull..... thanx for the opinions

considering how this hull has a reputation of being heavy, a 540XL running on lipo's is probably going to be the only way to keep it light and still have enough power to get it as fast as a SV.

I wouldnt worry about having to use lipos. Believe it or not..The BlackJack Is a tank when loaded up with gear and 16 cells. The stern is only about an inch above water. Look how it moves out. I'd run a 12 to 14XL on 14 to 18 cells. You will make 30 no problem. It may be i'll handeling in the turns. You may have to baby it like I do the Jack. If I had the cash I'd do one.
