Prop ????

What is the best prop to use with a stock BJ. I am running 7, and 8 cell Hi-MH packs. I don't have the $ for lipos just yet. Thanks in advance:smile:

the Y535 and the M435/3 seem to be the 2 go to props for a stock blackjack

x642 and x645 thinned, cupped a little, balanced and sharpened for me! i am running Lipo's though!

Anyone not running lipos? I just built 2, 9 cell 5000mah Ni-mh packs for mine.
Will the M435/3 still work ok?

what esc are you planning on using? I may be wrong, but I don't think the stock one will take that many cells. I run both lipo and nimh in my black jack. Run an octura x642 that has been detounged. My boat ran in the mid 40s on the stock motor and 6 cell nimh batteries.

I think the ESC can handle it. I know their are guys on here running 6s lipos with the stock ESC just fine. The lipos push more amps then my Ni-MH packs!

i run a sharpened and balanced 642 or if im just blasting threw some waves i use a grim racer 40x53
