I've had this tunnel for years and want to get it running again. It's a 32" maus tunnel hull. I had run it with the graupner outboard pictured with 2 10 cell Nimh packs. My best guess is that it ran around 35-40 mph. I've run gas powered boats for years but have very limited knowledge on the electric stuff. I've been doing a ton of reading on here trying to educate myself on brushless outboard power and have decided to use the o.s. leg but am unsure of what motor and esc to use. My goal is to get it into the 55-65 mph range on 6s which I believe I can fit into the box. Has anyone ever used this boat? Is it completely outdated? Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

A few of us are running O.S lowers with Align 500mx out runner motors on Vs 1 hulls with 440 props and Seaking 120 esc on 6s we are right @53 mph. Gps' d

Good, I have an o.s. outboard drive on the way, I think I want to run an inrunner so I can water cool it-so I think I'm going to go with the leopard 4082 1450kv, and a swordfish pro 200. How do most guys get to 6s? A single pack or two three cell packs in series? Also, have you posted the new video?

We like the out runners no cooling need have yet to see a motor over 120 degrees.. We are using 6s brick packs
With the higher voltage lower kv motor we are able to run 35c 4000 to 5000mah packs with 0issues
