Best kv leopard for revolt

Trying to decide between a leopard 1600kv for 5s and 6s or 2000kv for 4s and 5s. What do guys think would be better suited? Thanks! Or even 1900kv or 1700kv I hate having so many options lol please help!

Do the math, but the prop plays a big role as well. The stock motor is 1800kv and the UL-1 motor is 2030kv. 4s = 14.8V, 5s = 18.5V

My advice is to stay on 4S and if you really think you need to upgrade, go with the UL-1 motor or LP 3674 1900kv and find a prop you like. The hull approaches it's limits at 50mph and you'll just start breaking things when you crash.

I put carbon fibre in hull so it's pretty strong and run the stock motor with 120amp seaking on 5s and it's fast but I want faster. So ya I'm thinking the 1900kv on 5s might be good that puts me at 35,000 rpm. You think 36,000-37,000rpm is to much because that's what I'd get with my suggestions. The guys I run with have 36" delta forces on 6s and mean machines I want to keep up lol. I have a new aquacraft lucas oil as well same as motely crew just thicker hull and better motor mount and hardware. I'm trying to figure out a good setup for that to

I just don't think it's realistic to think you can run the boat much harder than you are already. You can try the 1900kv, but with enough blow overs, eventually something will break.

My 3674 2200kv on 4s is about the same speed as my buddies with stock motor on 5s

Well I ran my lucas oil on 6s with stock motor an blew it, it was fun for the 2 mins it lasted lol so figure I mise well get a better one for revolt while I'm at it. I went ahead an ordered 3674 1650kv for 5s and 6s for the lucas oil and 3674 1900kv for the revolt for running on 4s and 5s

What was the kv of the lucas oil motor that you ran on 6s ?

Same as stock revolt the aquacraft 1800kv, so I new 39,000rpm was pushing it lol

Hull handled it perfectly but the motor didn't lol so I think 1650kv on 5s/6s will be good

42x55 sharpened and balanced, it's aquacrafts newest cat same as motley crew just thicker stronger hull and better motor mount and hardware. It just came out at the end of September
