Spectrum radio queston

Ok so I just got my new Delta Force Cyberstorm and its setup with a Spectrum receiver. When I made the trade for the boat I left the receiver in the car because we both use Spectrum radios. I have the 3r pro, a older 3.0 and Z1 with a Spectrum module and after spending a hour trying to bind the mr200 in the boat to my radios I looked on Spectrums sight to find they are not compadable. It looks as neither of the 2 marine receivers are compadable with my models. So my question being am I ok to run a Standard or mini Spectrum receiver and using the 3r radio or should I go back to the JR Z1 that I still have a fm module in on my other boats? Pros or cons of either?

I have the OLD version DX3S which were NOT marine compatible, (but now are). I used both telemetry, and sport receivers in boats without any problems for years. I now have both.
