I have been running a k48 for a while now. and although its ruff on my old cheap 3300's the motor and esc are staying pretty cool. I think the amount of water getting in the haul because im too lazy to tape the hatch is helping keping the motor and batts cool. but i do my best to turn right most of the time to keep the water flowing. anyways, i was thinking why not run a 51mm prop. but then im thinking that might be too big and actualy hit the rudder. anybody know for sure.
Also anyone run on of these Gundert Water Pickup.

It seems like a good idea. maybe you can get better flow than the stock rudder pickup(weather turning right or left). Plus i like the idea of using it as a bailer too.
any advice on either?
