Hi guys newbie here from hawaii
I know nothing about rc boat
but when I saw one at the lagoon
I am hooked like a big marlin fish
Once I got home I searched for rtr scale boat
well I end up at towerhobbies
I saw the bristolbay for 200 bucks rtr
I figured ill start with a low budget since I am new to rc boats
When I ordered it I got it shipped out by usps wth.:(
Big mistake I thought it was ups
made the order aug7.
I used the tracking number and its still in nevada:(
Not happy not happy at all
any way I really like the scale look of a boat
Specialy those centuries old looking boats
While browsing for boats
One in particular is a bangka
its just like a canoe but the bangka
has two rigger one on each side lol
I dont know how else that type of boat will tip over
its just like a bike with training wheels on it

Like I said above I know nothing about rc boat
This bristolbay will be my first boat ever
and for sure not going to be the last one :)
Is there anything I should know about this boat?
How to maintain this type of boat?
I know this boat didnt come with battery
what type of battery to get for the longest run time?
I have heard of lipos battery
but I read somewhere that this boat cant use lipo
and im not going tear it apart just to use lipo
For now I just need a plug and play battery
thanx guys
hope to learn new things from everyone

Hi,
If that boat move to fast for you than just try a smaller prop first.
I think that would also give you more run time from the cell pack to,
Do you know what size prop is on it and what size prop shaft it has yet ?
