The competition in NAMBA D19 P-Ltd. Cat is heating up, literally. The most fun race class ever, but not very stator-friendly as air/water temps are skyrocketing.Add to that, running under gas/nitro rules, we do a full mill, six lap race plus a cooldown lap and the occasional penalty lap:tape:. While I'm fully aware that the correct setup trumps all the watercooling in the world, adding a second pickup to give the motor a direct shot of cooling water rather than getting it after being pre-heated coming from the ESC may add just a tiny bit more insurance, so why not ?:noidea:

I like the heatshrink tubing on your stuffing tube.

Yup- I wanted to adjust the pickup depth with the largest prop I use with the AQ2030 BUT I'll prop down for the sprint race.

I was getting water in the tub until I did this - added it and now runs dry inside.

Reggae music provides the perfect vibe while building boats. Plays all day in my shop.
{ for Reggae music trivia buffs, Toots & the Maytals recording " 54-46 ; That's my Number" refers to Toot's booking number when he did time for possession of some Jamaican "laughing tobacco" :wink:}
