Is it just the angle of the pics, or is it a very shallow vee?

Edit: Looks a lot less shallow in the 3rd pic

towmissel

You are right it is shallow. We will using 4074 motors room is tight, but vary do able....as soon as they come back from paint....I will post all the build pictures from end to end and a run video. The side to side CG will be vary low that's good.

Without a cockpit or open cockpit it won't be exactly legel foe offshore will it? Just a hump with a black windshield would be cool

I got the boat for heat racing....Ivan will build anything you want the man is a master you know that.....his thunder boats are works of art....and after I had to take bolt cutters and get one of his gas monos out fo a chain link fence...that it hit WOT...and the boat with a little hatch tape could have run the next heat ...I was sold right there I had to have one.101132101133101134

All good. Ed Hughey was/is a master wood boat builder, prop guage maker, Flex shaft maker and hardware manufacturer. He is quite old now but, still around making flex cables for people. I may dig up some old photos and scan them to show you who he is. Photos are about 10 years old...

Is that good or bad LOL

towmissel

I looked him up and he was one of the pioneers of the sport. I like the statement but I'm no where close to the caliber of him. But the boats are coming out nice I think.

It's only 1P though so it's balanced fairly well.

towmissel
07-28-2013, 10:19 PM
CG is 30% first test showed it was wet but in race water that's not a bad thing. CG was 33% on first test if it is lose now that can be fixed with strut movement. I will get a test in this week and post a video and you all can tell me what ya think I know it's fast but I'm still playing with turn fins and stuff like that. I can;t ask for help because this is the first one there has been no R&D done :frusty: . So we will take it easy feel it out. :bash::bash::bash::flame42::flame42:
