Hello all,
This is for my Cheetah, my first build with something this powerful. (Likely) a Neu 1521 1Y (1577kv) motor, running on 6S, with HK Turnagy batteries.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the Seaking 180 version 2 vs. version 3?
It is just the additional capacitor bank?
Why do they mount the additional cap bank remotely?
Why do they use such skinny wires?
I thaught that was a no-no, as detailed in
http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/showthread.php?36868-Cap-banks-the-pre-emptive-answer

If the difference is just the cap bank, can anyone tell me the values and type of capacitors they are, or what size and arrangement I should use?

Some people have detailed a basic calculation where the frequency to be absorbed is proportional to the rotational frequency opf the motor, and the poles.
I would think it would be a function of the switching frequency of the ESC, but do hobby grade ESC’s actually have 1 mosfet switching frequency and a vary the PWM to make the wave, or do they just do something simpler, like vary the frequency to increase speed?

Am I overthinking it? (I do that)
